The Autism Advocacy Coalition of Virginia (AAC-VA) was founded in 2008 to advocate on behalf  of families who fight autism every minute of every day.  AAC-VA is a statewide coalition which (1) teaches strategies to improve the quality of life of autism families and (2) works closely with autism groups across Virginia to advocate for better services for autism families.

AAC-VA believes that every person on the autism spectrum is worth fighting for whether they are in the early years of their lives or near the end of their lives.  We believe in the importance of early intervention but we also believe that no one should “age-out” and be written off as a casualty of this dark and lonely disorder.
